Sam Chassy

Established in 2024, Sam owns Mind’s Eye Mastering in Nashville, TN.

After studying Music & Sound Recording at the University of New Haven, Goldsmiths University of London, and The Recording Workshop, he spent over 5 years working at legendary recording and mastering studios in Nashville (Blackbird Studio, True East Mastering, Sage Audio, and a few more) to learn what it takes to make and finish a great record across all genres.

He gained the understanding that the role of a mastering engineer is not only the final quality control, but also as the last person to creatively realize the artist’s vision before release into the hyper-competitive marketplace.

He learned his true calling is to bring order to the beautiful chaos of music production through creating top-quality masters that stand the test of time.

Through this he strives to materialize the masterpiece record of your mind’s eye.
